Def FX & Grave Yard Rockers - Factory Theatre - 1st June 2012
A band which I have followed for a number of years is Sydney’s own Def FX – having hung up their guitars and microphones in 1997. When they announced a series of shows in 2012 I knew I had to be part of it. But you know, sometimes good memories are just that and should be left that way. Whilst I had high hopes for the show I was left a little disappointed – it wasn’t the band that I used to remember. Sure for nostalgic reasons it was great to be at the show, but it just wasnt the Def FX that I remember – maybe because some key players from the band were no longer present. Eitherway, I was glad I attended and I got some reasonable photos.
Support for the night was a band called “Grave Yard Rockers” – hosted by lead singer “Ash” from “Caligula” fame. Interestingly, I prefer the photos I took of this band then what I do of Dex FX who were the main reason I was there on the night.
