Ladyhawke - Metro Theatre - 8th July 2012

Yesterday I got a last minute call up to photography Ladyhawke at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.  It was a bit of a thrill as I am a fan of ladyhawke, having seen her perform live for her first album a few years back, and then seeing her again recently at a festival.  Tonight’s show sees her supporting her new album ‘Anxiety’.  The show was extra thrilling because I usually know a week or two in advance who I am photographing, but as I mentioned for this show I got the call the same day as the show – which gave it that extra bit of excitement.   Ladyhawke has a knack of writing some pretty catchy tunes and I would recommend if you are not familiar with her work then you should check it out – personally I prefer her first album – but this new one is growing on me too.
